I have been working with clients in the mental health field since 2014, and have a wide range of experience with different client issues. I have worked both in private and community based treatment facilities.
I use a trauma informed, client centered and harm reduction approach in my work with clients, collaboratively working together to create goals throughout the therapeutic process. I firmly believe that a strong therapeutic alliance between therapist and client is an important aspect of this work and a contributing agent of change, and therefore, I work hard to create a safe, and non-judgmental environment for those that I work with.

I have been practicing as a therapist since 2012. I have worked in school boards and in community mental health agencies as a Psychotherapist and Psychometrist.
My approach to therapy utilizes an attachment, trauma and cognitive explanations to human emotional, physical and behavioural suffering. Each individual client is different; therefore I customize every approach and intervention to the needs of each individual. With clients I provide a non-oppressive environment, where I provide unconditional positive regard to allow clients the space to do the work they have come to do.
My post graduate academic work has mainly focused on Mindfulness, Rational-Emotive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma informed therapy and Attachment based interventions.
